Teacher Leadership

The purpose of the leadership in the Texas Transformation Project is to develop and increase teacher and school leader effectiveness, implement comprehensive instructional reforms, increase learning time and create community-oriented schools, and provide operational flexibility and sustain support.
Teacher leaders will provide instructional leadership and support to staff via walk-throughs and observations, facilitate job-embedded professional development, collaborate with administration in the development of long-range professional development plans, work in a dual role of teacher rand instructional leader, participate in required trainings and online professional learning, and conduct action research.
